About US

Pumpkin Junction began as a dream — the kind you say out loud more than once, hoping someday it might become real. I kept imagining how beautiful a wheat field could look if it were filled with pumpkins instead. Row after row of bright orange against Kansas sky. A place families could wander, laugh, and make memories.My other half is a farmer, and he heard about this imaginary pumpkin patch more times than he probably expected. But he listened. Patiently. Kindly. And eventually, he said yes.This spring, I went to work turning that dream into something you could walk through. It took planning, learning, and a whole lot of rolling with things when they didn’t go exactly as planned. And every time something required heavy lifting or big equipment, my farmer was right there — steady, supportive, and willing to help make it happen.What you see today is the result of dreaming, working, and believing that a simple idea can grow into something beautiful. A wheat field became an autumn paradise. A dream became Pumpkin Junction.And now, we’re so excited to share it with you.

Admission and activities

Pumpkin Junction's admission is just $5 per person over the age of 3. Larger families may qualify for a discount, ask at the gate. Pumpkins are purchased by size.

Ready for a day of fall fun? Wander through the patch to pick your favorite pumpkin (or have our team lend a hand!), enjoy a cozy story walk with the kids, and show off your shooting skills at the grain-bin basketball game. Play a round of checkers, tic-tac-toe, or connect four, and snap festive family photos at our picture stops throughout the patch. This is our inaugural year, and we can’t wait to grow with you as we bring even more attractions in the future!

Location and Hours

Pumpkin Junction is located just north of Solomon. Take I-70 to Exit 266, Solomon Road and head north one half mile. The patch is on the west side of the road.
Open Weekends 10/3 to 10/31.
Saturday 9 AM to 5 PM
Sunday Noon to 5 PM
